Just a few days ago I submitted my work to the Juried Exhibition. Last year one of my paintings were accepted into the Chicago Museum for Black History Month. Here's some history on the annually held Exhibition.
The Museum of Science and Industry (Chicago) commemorates Black History Month with the Black Creativity program, which includes one of the country's oldest African-American art exhibitions. Prominent artists from around the globe submit their work to the Juried Art Exhibition in the categories of ceramics, textiles, folk art, painting, drawing, photography, print, video and sculpture.
